Colleen is originally from Raleigh, North Carolina, and moved to Florida for graduate school, where she fell in love with the Sunshine State. She earned her Doctorate of Occupational Therapy from the University of Saint Augustine for Health Sciences.
Since graduating, Colleen has gained valuable experience working in outpatient clinics and hospitals, focusing on pediatrics, hand therapy, acute care, and adult patients. Her passion for occupational therapy ignited during her undergraduate years while volunteering at a specialized pediatric CIMT camp, solidifying her desire to dedicate her career to helping children. Colleen’s clinicals emphasized outpatient pediatrics, and her doctoral capstone project highlighted the importance of early socialization for children’s growth and development in various aspects of life.
Outside of work, Colleen enjoys cooking, visiting the beach, traveling to see friends and family out of state, and spending quality time with her boyfriend.
