Tara Fleming is a dedicated Pediatric Speech-Language Pathologist based in the Tampa Bay area. Born in Pensacola, Florida, Tara moved to the region at the age of two. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Communication Science and Disorders with a minor in Psychology from Florida State University, where she also completed the Developmental Disabilities Certificate program. Tara continued her academic journey at the University of South Florida, graduating with a Master of Science in Speech-Language Pathology. She is an active member of the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA).
Tara specializes in providing rehabilitative services for children, focusing on areas such as early intervention, augmentative and alternative communication (AAC), phonology, articulation, childhood apraxia of speech (CAS), receptive and expressive language, pragmatic language, literacy, fluency, play skills, feeding, and autism. With experience in outpatient and telehealth settings, Tara is passionate about delivering individualized and engaging therapy tailored to each child’s unique needs. She believes every child deserves the opportunity to communicate, play, and form meaningful connections with family and friends.
Outside of her professional life, Tara enjoys quality time with her loved ones, indulging in books, participating in runDisney events, cheering for the Tampa Bay Lightning, and spoiling her golden retriever, Gryffin.
