Becky is a Pediatric Speech-Language Pathologist. Born and raised in Somerville, New Jersey, she earned her Bachelor’s degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders from Kean University and her Master of Science in Speech-Language Pathology from Rutgers University. Before graduate school, Becky worked as a paraprofessional at a preschool for children with hearing loss who use cochlear implants and hearing aids, which sparked her interest in speech-language pathology. During her graduate studies, she gained experience working with children in the following areas; expressive and receptive language, fluency, articulation, pragmatics, Autism, and ADHD.
She has provided augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) support to students with Autism using child-led, play-based strategies. As a bilingual clinician, Becky offers evaluation and therapy services in both English and Spanish.
She believes in a child-led, neurodiversity-affirming approach that centers on each child’s strengths, interests, and autonomy. Becky enjoys working closely with families to provide guidance, share resources, and create a supportive environment.
In her free time, Becky enjoys playing tennis and pickleball, shopping, cooking, reading, and exploring the Tampa Bay area.
